We love autumn!

Let the kids burn off some steam at the park before dropping Trevor off at school. I had to bribe them with candy to get them to sit still for a picture together. Check out a few more new pictures at the October 2009 Picasa web album. The few photos with trees don't do justice to the beautiful colors. You just have to be here to appreciate how awesome fall is (hint hint to my family in hot/arid climates).

House update: Plans are being finalized and permits have been submitted. I drove out to the lot after lunch today and saw that it has been staked and the silt fence has been put up. We also have a mailbox!! Lots of activity at the lot next door - looking forward to watching the progress on ours.

The kids are getting pumped up for Halloween. Sarah is going to be a fairy princess. Hopefully her wings will stay put. (Erin and Kevin - this is the costume you gave Sarah last year. She wasn't into "dress-up" then, but loves to wear it all the time now.) Trevor chose to be the blue Power Ranger. I don't think he's every watched the Power Ranger show, but he thought it was cool, so there ya go. Michael will wear those pajamas that look like a pumpkin. Yes, it's the same outfit Trevor wore for his first Halloween. One of the "perks" of being the 3rd child, specifically a boy. Seriously, why would I purchase a costume for a 3-month-old?
