On Thursday, in between the days of rain (more than half of the month of October so far!) we went to Minnetonka Orchards to pick apples and choose a pumpkin. Though it was cold, muddy, and cloudy, the colors of the trees were still beautiful and the apples we picked were tasty (Honeycrisp!) . Trevor picked out a giant pumpkin - seriously weighs as much as he does. Sarah got cold and had a meltdown towards the end, but I suppose that's normal for her these days.
Here is the link to our October 2009 web album where I posted a few more pictures from the farm, as well as a few of just hanging out at home. http://picasaweb.google.com/zimmerman8520/October2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCNftr7zltq_OXA&feat=directlink
If you're wondering about Michael (and why wouldn't you be thinking about our sweet baby?!) he is growing growing growing. Just past the 3-month mark, he is getting more active by grasping toys and standing for longer periods of time in the Mega Saucer. He loves looking at our faces, especially Trevor and Sarah's, and he makes lots of fun little sounds when he is happy. Still has quite a set of lungs when he is not happy, though. And that's no fun in the wee hours of the morning!
