Just a quick update. I saw my doctor yesterday afternoon, following the ultrasound I had in the morning. All is well with the baby and me. However, currently the placenta is lying unusually low in the uterus, next to or covering the cervix. This condition is called placenta previa. At this point there's no cause for alarm, but we'll get to have another ultrasound at 28 weeks (towards the end of April) to see if the placenta has moved.
That's all for now. Kids are occupied, so there is work to be done getting the house back in order after the carpet-installation-upheaval!
