Our new-home-to-be

It's official! Yesterday we signed the purchase agreement to build our new home! After months of searching for an exsiting home, we just hadn't found the right house for our family. The past few weeks we've been exploring the option to build and are so excited to get our project underway.
We are building in the 4th and last installment of Hunters Crest, a development in the Minnetrista/St. Bonifacius area, north of Lake Waconia. It is a quiet, pretty, family-filled neighborhood that we know we are going to love. The view out our back windows will be gorgeous, as there are wetlands immediately behind the lot, so no one will be building there. Here are the first few pictures of our view, although the camera doesn't do it justice.

Our second story layout will be a little different than shown, as the bathroom will be moved into part of the loft area to allow for 2 slightly larger bedrooms with walk-in closets. Also, we will have a walk-out basement, which we will eventually finish to include another bathroom, 5th bedroom, and living space.

As soon as our selections are made and we've had our plan review with the builder, then the digging will begin! We hope to close on the house and be moved in late January or early February. Yea!!
