The end of summer
This past Saturday, we celebrated again for Trevor's 4th birthday - this time with the extended family up here in Minnesota. We let him tear into the gifts right away and didn't even have a cake with candles to blow out - just cupcakes which he helped make and put sprinkles on. The kid is thoroughly confused about birthdays now. He did, however, eat the frosting off of 4 or 5 cupcakes, so it wasn't a total bust. (In the slideshow above you'll see Sarah's way of eating cupcakes - very reminiscent of Cookie Monster.)
The rest of the weekend was pretty laid back - church on Sunday and the pool on Monday. The last couple of days have been a bit busier, though. I was silly enough to agree to a free session with trainer at the gym yesterday, and now I am regretting it (seriously, going up and down the stairs today has been torture!). Trevor got a cute short hair cut yesterday, and today he got to see his classroom and meet his teachers at preschool visitation. He's really looking forward to going to school next week and also starting soccer practice. More fun pictures to come from that!
Today we are having early fall-like temps and it's sunny and beautiful, so I tried to get a few pictures of the kids outside. Click on the slideshow above to go to the Picasa web album if you want to download any of the files. Enjoy!
