Been a while since I've updated you... here are the highlights.
(NOTE: Most of our Picasa web albums have been made "public" so all you need to do is go to our public gallery at http://picasaweb.google.com/minnesotazimmermans and choose the album you want to view. This saves me a lot of work putting links in each blog to the various albums.)
HOUSE
Our closing date has been set for February 10th!! We will officially be living there by the 13th, after all our stuff gets moved in. YEA! We are so excited. We cannot wait to have everyone in their own bedrooms! New pictures are in the "New Home Site" album. You'll see that the kitchen cabinets are in; all the ceilings are finished; all the trim (baseboards, door casings, etc.) is complete; hardwood floors in kitchen and foyer done; siding almost all complete; slabs poured in garage and front porch; lots of light fixtures installed; and utilities set up. And that was as of a couple of days ago - who knows how much has done now?!! It's very exciting :)
KIDS

Well this little cutie has passed the 6-month mark! Where has the time gone? He can sit without support and is trying to get up on his knees when he's on his tummy. He has been trying out a variety of pureed foods and is loving it all. For a while we thought we were hearing some consonants with his noises, but now he just yells and grunts. He also has two teeth and had a great check-up at the doctor this month. He weighs 17 pounds and is tracking right along the 50th percentile for height and weight. Check the web albums for more pictures.
We are in the throws of potty training with Sarah. Seems like she had a big regression recently, just refusing to sit on the toilet. So we decided to ditch the pull-ups (except for night-time). It's been an adventure, to say the least. This week I had to pay to replace a library book because one of her accidents was right on top of it! But we're working on a chart right now, and she's very close to completing it and getting her prize.
Trevor just started a six-week basketball program for 4-6 year-olds. We'll have to get some pictures taken next. They were all so cute and he really did a great job of listening to the coaches and shooting the ball. A natural! (even if he is a bit short)
That's all for now. Happy Friday!
