Sarah is 8 months old!

Where has the time gone? It's hard to believe Sarah is already 8 months old and Trevor is about to turn 3! The kids are growing so much - every day is adventure. We have a big family get-together planned this weekend for Trevor's birthday. He is very excited and has been telling everyone that he is 3 (while holding up 3 fingers, of course).

Sarah has had a string of ear infections ever since April (or maybe one or two that haven't completely healed), so we will be meeting with an ear, nose and throat specialist next week to determine if tubes will be put in her ears. Despite the never-ending infections and rounds of various antibiotics (including Augmentin, which we found out she is allergic to, and two shots of Rocephin) she is a trooper and a very happy baby. She smiles a lot (remember when we thought she'd never smile?) and claps her hands all the time. Not crawling yet, but loves to walk around while holding on to someone's hands.
