Sarah had her 6 month check-up today. She weighs 15# 12 oz (50th %ile) and is 26 1/4" tall (75th %ile). She is doing very well developmentally since she is sitting by herself, eating solid foods, and saying "da-da" and "ga-ga." However she has another ear infection, so she is starting on another round of antibiotics (bummer). Mommy and Daddy missed the symptoms because she cut her first tooth this week and we thought her fussiness was due to the teething! Guess you just never know with babies.
Potty training is going very well for Trevor. He loves to get treats for going on the potty and knows it makes Mommy and Daddy very happy. Amazing that he's progressed so much already, and he's not even three yet! And while he certainly in the "terrible twos" and testing us all the time, he is also a very sweet boy and loves his sister. He is always trying to hug and kiss her. He tells her "it's okay" when she cries. He is doing great with his language and learning so much at school. He can say his ABCs and can count to twenty. He also can carry on a conversation very well and we are surpised at some of the things he says (and often wonder where he heard them).
That's all the updates on our adventures for now. Check back often for updates!
