If you're not from around here, you may have heard about the frigid temperatures we've been enduring. After several days below zero, and what the weather guy called "arctic sunshine," we decided to have a "pool party" last night, tub toys and beach ball included. It gave the kids something to do that didn't involve fighting, chasing, or high-pitched screaming, which is always a plus in my book.
It's very sad that I'm looking forward to a high of 20 degrees on Saturday. Seriously, if I didn't have to take those munchkins with me, I'd drive down to Mississippi in a heartbeat.
