All seems well with baby number 3 (seriously, we need to come up with a nickname for this kid). I had my 16-week check-up yesterday and got to hear the baby's heartbeat again. A strong 155 bpm, though it took a while for the doctor to actually locate the little critter. We were starting to get a little concerned, when finally he/she surfaced long enough for us to get a listen.
All seems well with my health, too. Everything checked out and I am happy to be in the midst of the 2nd trimester, which has brought more appetite and energy. However, most days I still enjoy crawling in bed for a little while when Sarah's napping. But that could be just because it's so stinkin' cold all the time - who wouldn't want to curl up for nap?
Trevor and Sarah are keeping me busy breaking up fights, listening to tantrums, and generally praying for warmer weather so they can spend more than 20 minutes outside. We've been taking advantage of free "Tot Time" at the Chaska Community Center (which we just recently joined). On Monday while Trevor was at preschool, I took Sarah to "Art Time," which included a lot of glitter, so it was fun to make a mess somewhere other than my own house. Tuesday the kids went to "Gym Time" where they get to run around like maniacs, kick balls, crawl through tubes, and get knocked down by other kids (that was Sarah). Good times.
And now that I am convinced Sarah's down for her nap (we've been having issues with her not wanting to nap lately), I am finally going to go take a shower (I know, you can say "ew" if you want), then have a cup of decaf coffee, while Trevor is being babysat by a DVD.

How about Zip? For zipping around while trying to find him/her?
