Sandbox Fun

When we moved into our house almost 6 years ago, there was a square box of sand in the backyard where the previous owners' kids had a little "play house." With the house gone, and no children of our own yet, we thought we'd use it as a flower garden, so we put on some topsoil. Eventually it became a patch of green onions and weeds. Lots and lots of weeds.
But this past week it reverted back to a sandbox. And WOW has Trevor been enjoying it! Since the sand was put in on Thursday, he's spent hours and hours out there. He got several new diggers and dumpers for his birthday (Thanks, Grandpa and Granny Ann!), and it's so nice to be able to play with them outside. I suppose it's also been nice to have some warm weather - it'll be sad when the snow starts and he has to wait until spring to go back out there.

It's just as much fun to dig snow as it is sand. You'll be surprised how quick he figures that out. Looks like loads of fun.
